Russian forces have attacked the city of Uman in Cherkasy Oblast on the morning of 16 October.

In Uman, in central Ukraine’s Cherkasy region, a drone fell onto a multistory residential building, triggering a fire. A nearby security building was also damaged, trapping a man beneath the rubble before rescuers pulled him to safety.

Five people were reported injured, three of whom required hospitalization, according to regional military administration chief Ihor Taburets.

In Uman, as a result of the fall of a Russian drone, a fire broke out in a multi-story building.

Ihor Taburets reported that a security house was destroyed and a man was saved from under the rubble.

On the night of 16 October, Russian attack drones struck the Cherkasy region, specifically targeting Uman.

A high-rise block caught fire in Uman following the crash of a drone, and a guardhouse nearby was damaged.

Commercial warehouses caught fire in Uman as a result of the attack, and the fire was successfully contained.
