A spokesperson for a Ukrainian brigade operating in the Lyman direction reported on September 25 that Russian forces are conducting chaotic airstrikes on settlements and windbreaks in an attempt to detect Ukrainian positions.

The spokesperson stated that Russian forces have not managed to locate new Ukrainian positions following significant Ukrainian advances in the Lyman direction during Ukraine’s Operation Vivaldi.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked three times in the areas of Kopanky and Novoselivka.

According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the 300,000 additional troops would supplement Russia's existing recruitment efforts. They could be deployed to reinforce Moscow's main offensive around the fortified cities of Donetsk Oblast or to open new fronts elsewhere, including along Ukraine's northern border.

ISW analysts stated that there is no evidence of significant Russian advances towards Dobropillia in recent weeks and that the nearest Russian-controlled territory is 10.2 km from the southeastern edge of the city.

Russia has organized yet another propaganda press tour to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, involving foreign journalists and bloggers loyal to the Kremlin.

The Center for Countering Disinformation believes the purpose of such trips is to create a distorted picture of the situation in the territories seized by Russia for foreign audiences.

The trip was organized as part of the Russian propaganda project 'Foreign Journalists for Russia,' and this is already the 13th such press tour organized by outlets linked to Russian propagandist Zakhar Prilepin.

The group included 13 people from countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the European Union, and the United States.

The participants met with Denis Pushilin, the head of the occupation administration in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, who spoke to them about the alleged 'development of the Donbas.'

The Center for Public Diplomacy stated that such press tours are planned information operations designed to legitimize the occupation of Ukrainian territory and divert the world's attention from the war crimes committed by the Russian Federation's army.
