The Ukrainian General Staff reported on September 20 that Ukrainian forces struck a Russian drone production facility near Siversk, Donetsk Oblast (east of Slovyansk and roughly 12 kilometers from the frontline).

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attempts to break through their defences, with the Russians conducting 15 attacks near the villages of Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman and Shyykivka.

Russia struck an evacuation center in Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk region. The center was housed in a school building, and evacuated civilians and staff were inside when the strike hit. Two people were injured.

On September 20, as of 10:00 p.m., there were 211 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders on the front lines, with the enemy making the most active attempts to attack in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions.

During the second 'season' of 'Vivaldi,' the 3rd Army Corps reclaimed another 40 square kilometers of Ukrainian land.

Operation Vivaldi, the corps' offensive operation around Lyman in northern Donetsk Oblast, was only made public on Sept. 15.

On Sept. 20, Ukrainian Defense Forces announced the results of the second phase, saying they had liberated Shandryholove and Derylove and established full control over Drobysheve.

Across the first two phases, the corps said it had reclaimed 125 square kilometers of territory.
