Ukraine’s Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) Department of Active Operations reported on September 7 that GUR drone operators struck and damaged a Russian aircraft, reportedly a Su-24 tactical bomber, in occupied Crimea overnight on September 6 to 7.
Ukrainian drone strikes overnight hit a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal in Russian-occupied Crimea, Ukraine's General Staff said on Sept. 7.
The railway bridge is located near Vladyslavivka, a village in eastern Crimea that hosts a key railway junction in the area, the General Staff said.
In the Vladyslavivka area, in occupied Crimea, a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal was hit.
Special forces of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence’s Defence Intelligence (DIU) carried out another successful special operation in temporarily occupied Crimea.
A Russian military aircraft was successfully hit overnight.
Details of the type of aircraft destroyed are unknown, but another loss of the occupiers’ combat aircraft on the peninsula reduces the enemy air force’s capabilities in the region.
