Ukraine's defence forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai on the night of 7-8 August.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the Ilsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region.

On the night of August 8, operators from the DIU Department of Active Operations and Department of Unmanned Systems struck the Ilsky Oil Refinery.

The attack on the refinery caused a fire.

The General Staff said on Aug. 8 that long-range Ukrainian drones hit two oil refineries in Russia's Krasnodar Krai and Samara Oblast.

Regional operational headquarters claimed the resulting fire was caused by falling drone debris.

Authorities reported that five people were injured in the incident and are receiving medical assistance.

The Ilsk oil refinery, one of the largest in southern Russia, caught fire after a drone attack.
