Two apartment buildings were damaged in a Russian missile attack on Lviv, with six people reportedly injured.

Ukrainian air defense forces were engaged in repelling the attack.

Maxim Kozytsky, head of the Lviv Oblast Military Administration, said that two high-rise residential buildings were struck in the city, later saying at least 30 people had been injured. This was revised down to 23 by Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi, though he added two people were considered missing.

Lviv also came under attack, with multiple explosions reported across the city. Residential high-rises on Paton and Vyhovskoho streets caught fire, injuring 15 people, 14 of whom were hospitalized, regional governor Maksym Kozytsky said.

A Russian night attack on Lviv caused fires in residential buildings. By 9:00, more than 20 residential buildings, a school, and two kindergartens were damaged. Rescue workers were working to free people trapped under the rubble.
