Russian forces continued offensive operations in the Slovyansk direction on July 22 and 23 but did not advance.

Russian forces dropped two aerial bombs on the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast, injuring 14 people.

Operators of the 4th Ranger Regiment conducted a raid and captured a prisoner.

The military explained that dense summer vegetation helped conceal the operators of the 3rd Special Operations Detachment, allowing them to detect the enemy position in time, approach undetected, and launch a successful assault while inflicting fire damage.

As a result of the operation, operators from the 4th Ranger Regiment captured a Russian serviceman who was identified as a citizen of the self-proclaimed Transnistria region.

The troops also seized enemy weapons, communications equipment, personal belongings, and valuable intelligence about Russian forces.

A Ukrainian drone struck a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system worth an estimated $50 million as it was being moved toward the front line in the Donetsk region, Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said on Thursday.
