Russian forces moved up fresh troops to the Huliaipole front in June 2026, maintaining offensive momentum without Ukrainian forces seizing the initiative.

Russian forces are rotating their offensive grouping in southern Ukraine, particularly on the Huliaipole axis.

During the summer campaign, the platforms covered a combined distance of approximately 4,258 kilometers (2,646 miles), with tasks ranging from supporting frontline logistics to evacuating wounded Ukrainian troops and transporting captured Russian soldiers.

Artan said its main area of operations is currently the Zaporizhzhia front in southern Ukraine

Ground robotic complexes of GUR special unit 'Artan' delivered 40 tons of cargo to the front line and evacuated wounded soldiers.

Colonel Viktor Torotyuk stated that the robotic platforms worked non-stop, covering approximately 4,258 km in total over the summer.

Thanks to the use of 'Artan' robotic complexes, 45 Ukrainian soldiers were saved from enemy fire and more than 41 tons of cargo were delivered to the front.

The main direction of the GUR special unit's work remains Zaporizhzhia, though they were also deployed in the Lyman direction in spring-summer.
