A Russian drone strike hit an administrative building in the northeastern city of Sumy, injuring a 16-year-old boy who was near the attack site. The boy was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

A Russian drone struck a Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) building in Sumy on Wednesday, March 18, injuring a civilian, Ukrainian officials said. According to Ukrainska Pravda, citing Ukraine's Ground Forces and local authorities, the strike damaged a city TCC building, though no personnel inside were injured.

Sumy acting mayor Artem Kobzar said a 16-year-old boy was wounded near the site and taken to a hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment.

The drone's explosion caused a fire and shattered windows in the building, Kobzar said, adding that emergency services were working at the scene.

Officials said the facility had previously been relocated and was not being used for mobilization activities at the time of the attack.
