Ukrposhta issued a commemorative stamp block titled "By Sword and Will" for the Day of Remembrance and Resistance, dedicated to defenders, rescuers, medics, volunteers, and everyone who stands daily in defense of peace and freedom.
The stamp block is based on works by Ukrainian artist Oleh Shupliak from his series "The Great Battle of Ukraine with Mordor."
The print run includes 60,000 stamp blocks, 15,000 first-day covers, and 400 presentation folders.
As of Feb. 24, more than 1,100 residential buildings remain without heating in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
