The UK imposed sanctions on PJSC Transneft, 175 companies in the 2Rivers oil network, nine Russian banks, and other entities on Feb. 24, 2026.

The United Kingdom has imposed its largest package of sanctions against Russia since 2022, covering nearly 300 individuals and companies.

Transneft PJSC is responsible for transporting more than 80% of Russian oil exports.
