Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) mined the underwater support pillars of the Kerch Strait Bridge and detonated the equivalent of 1,100 kilograms of TNT at 0444 on June 3, marking the third time Ukraine has conducted an operation against the bridge.

On 3 June, a structurally complex part of the Kerch Bridge was attacked as part of a special SSU operation. This was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

The structurally complex part of the bridge had already been damaged earlier as a result of the same operation, and its capacity was reduced.

The strike affected rail transport logistics, which is the main logistics tool of the Russian army.
