The Russian forces have launched a missile strike on the infrastructure of Shostka community in Sumy region.

The strikes damaged 12 residential buildings, two educational institutions, three boiler houses, a healthcare clinic, a dormitory, as well as other facilities.

There were hits by ballistic missiles in Sumy and Kyiv Oblasts.

Russian forces fired 36 times at the Sumy region border areas and settlements, recording 59 explosions on December 31.

Shostka community was targeted by missile attacks.

Khotyn community experienced one FPV drone explosion and nine mortar explosions, resulting in car damage.

Krasnopillia community was hit by six UAV-dropped VOGs and one FPV drone attack.

Four mines were dropped on Znob-Novhorod community territory.

Velyka Pysarivka community suffered seven UAV-dropped VOGs, eight artillery shells, and two FPV drone attacks.

Shalyhyne community was attacked by two FPV drones and three mortar shells.

Trostyanets community was targeted by a missile attack resulting in one explosion.

Esman and Bilopillia communities experienced mortar shelling with four and three explosions respectively.
