US President Joe Biden announced an additional military aid package for Ukraine worth $2.5 billion, funded by $1.25 billion from PDA and $1.22 billion from USAI.

The package includes thousands of artillery rounds, thousands of rockets, hundreds of armored vehicles, NASAMS munitions, HAWK air defense munitions, Stinger missiles, c-UAS munitions, HIMARS ammunition, HARMs, Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems, TOW missiles.

President Biden announced nearly USD 2.5 billion in security assistance for Ukraine, including a $1.25 billion drawdown package for the Ukrainian military and a $1.22 billion Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) package.

The U.S. Department of Defense has allocated all remaining USAI funds appropriated by Congress.

The funds will provide Ukraine with immediate influx of capabilities and longer-term supplies of air defense, artillery, and other critical weapons systems.

The Department of Defense is delivering hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds, thousands of rockets, and hundreds of armored vehicles to strengthen Ukraine's position during the winter.
