North Korea is reportedly planning to deploy more troops and weapons to Russia amid reports that over 3,000 North Korean troops have been killed and wounded in Kursk Oblast.

More than 1,000 North Korean soldiers have been killed or wounded in Russia’s war with Ukraine, South Korea said Monday, while Kyiv put the total at over 3,000.

Ukrainian 80th Separate Galician Assault Brigade, fighting in Kursk Oblast, has not yet captured any North Korean soldiers. The military personnel just haven't fallen into their captivity and there are no documents confirming they are from North Korea.

Ukrainian forces recently captured several soldiers from a Russian motor rifle brigade who underwent joint training with North Korean military personnel. The prisoners saw Koreans and trained together with them. At the training point, there were 830 North Korean military personnel.

Ukrainian paratroopers eliminated six Russian servicemen using drones in the Kursk region, with one survivor killed after fleeing.
