A high-rise apartment building in Chornomorsk, Odesa oblast, was damaged in an overnight attack with Russian launched Shahed drones.

Overnight on Oct. 8, during yet another Russian drone attack against Ukraine, debris hit Kira Rodkina's residential building in Chornomorsk, a small southern city on the Black Sea coast. A fire engulfed one of the apartments where a family with children lived.

The enemy hit a civilian ship flying the Palauan flag with a ballistic missile. A 60-year-old Ukrainian, an employee of a private cargo handling company, was killed. Five other foreign nationals were injured.
