A Russian Shahed-type attack drone flew near the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant during an overnight attack before being shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.

During an overnight attack, a flight of a Russian attack UAV of the Shahed type was recorded in the immediate vicinity of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant. Later, it was shot down by Ukraine's air defense forces.

Russia deliberately draws the flights routes for missiles and attack drones so that they pass over the nuclear facilities in Ukraine.

During the nighttime attack, a Russian Shahed-type strike UAV flight was recorded in immediate proximity to the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. Later this Shahed was shot down by air defense forces.

Russia deliberately plots the routes of missiles and strike drones so that they pass over nuclear facilities in Ukraine as well. This is already not the first time and is part of Russian terrorist tactics.

During the night of September 12, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 69 means of air attack, including 64 Shahed drones.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 44 out of the 64 Shahed drones launched during this attack.
