The perpetrator was part of the FSB human asset network, which was exposed in the regional center in June 2023.
The convict was a 64-year-old resident of one of the villages in Kharkiv district, remotely recruited by the FSB to seek sensitive information on the location of the Ukrainian Army's training center, fortifications, and firing positions.
The perpetrator worked as a taxi driver and collected information through small talk with passengers.
The perpetrator communicated with handlers via a liaison - Oleksandr Slisarenko, who after the capture of Kupiansk served as one of the leaders of the occupation administration.
