Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Guangzhou to discuss the resolution of the Ukraine conflict through negotiations.

Wang Yi said that in China's opinion, the resolution of all conflicts should be brought back to the negotiating table

China supports all efforts that promote peace and is ready to continue playing a constructive role for ceasefire and resumption of peace talks

China will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Ukraine is willing and ready for dialogue and negotiations with Russia, but such negotiations should be reasonable, meaningful, and aimed at achieving a just and sustainable peace

China confirmed that it will not provide Russia with weapons, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Kuleba stated that Russia has destroyed peace and hampered development, and each new day of war brings new violations of humanity and further erosion of justice

Kuleba explained Ukraine's position that it is ready to hold negotiations with Russia at a certain stage when Russia is ready to negotiate in good faith, but noted that currently no such willingness is observed from the Russian side

Kuleba informed Wang Yi about the results of the Peace Summit in Switzerland and explained the logic of further steps in implementing the Peace Formula

Kuleba emphasized that Russian aggression stands not only in the way of Ukraine's development but also hinders international stability, development of good-neighborly relations, and trade between China and Europe
