Russian air defense faced a mass attack of drones in the region's Morozovsk district, Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev reported

More than 80 Ukrainian drones attacked multiple Russian regions in the early hours of Friday, June 14.

70 out of 80 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Rostov region.

Kyrylo Budanov stated that the airfield was attacked using at least 70 Ukrainian Dragon and Splash drones launched from Ukrainian territory.

The airfield is located about 270 kilometers from the front line.

The 559th Bomber Aviation Regiment with dozens of Su-34 fighters is based at Morozovsk airfield, which is one of the key Russian bases.

Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev stated that air defense successfully repelled a massive UAV attack, destroying drones near several settlements with no reported casualties.
