Ukrainian forces launched precision-guided missiles (M270 and HIMARS) across the border into Russia, hitting heavy Russian artillery systems, troop concentrations, and at least one major bridge.

Ukrainian forces waited less than 24 hours after getting the green light from Washington, London, Paris and Berlin to hammer targets inside Russia with precision-guided munitions fired by top-end made-in-the-USA artillery, firing dozens of long-range rocket salvoes across the border. Heavy Russian artillery systems, troop concentrations and at least one major bridge appeared to be the focus of the Ukrainian strikes starting in the early morning hours of Sunday.

Russia likely carried out the attack with S-300 missiles.

The victims included a 45-year-old resident of Donetsk Oblast killed and two injured employees of the center.

Soldiers of the Omega Special Forces Centre of the National Guard of Ukraine conducted aerial reconnaissance and found boxes of ammunition in a forest belt. An FPV drone was launched into the air and hit the target, starting a fire.
