Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba urged partner countries to either shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine from their territory or provide adequate air defense systems and combat aircraft.

There is not a single legal, security or moral argument that stands in the way of our partners shooting down Russian missiles over the territory of Ukraine from their territory. Those who say that such actions would be an escalation are manipulating.

The only party involved in escalation over the past two years has been the Russian Federation.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock arrived in Ukraine's capital on May 21 for a previously unannounced visit.

This marks Baerbock's fifth visit to Ukraine's capital since the outbreak of the full-scale war in February 2022.
