A series of explosions, likely from outside the city, were heard in Kharkiv at around 04:00 on 5 May during a Russian drone attack.

On the night of May 5, Russian occupants shelled the village of Oleksandrivka with artillery.

Five households were injured, and houses and outbuildings were damaged.

There was no electricity in part of the village, and the power grid was damaged.

A Russian rocket strike on Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region killed two people and a drone attack on the northeastern city of Kharkiv injured at least six, officials said Sunday.

The explosion damaged residential buildings and other outbuildings, with fires breaking out at two addresses in a total area of about 200 square meters.

Five people were injured in the shelling, including one child.
