Over the past day, the occupiers fired on the border settlements of Sumy region. A total of 256 attacks were recorded.

5 civilians were injured as a result of the shelling. An apartment building and 24 private houses, a garage, and a car were also damaged.

Russian forces struck four communities in Ukraine's northeastern Sumy Oblast in six separate attacks throughout the day, with at least 23 explosions reported. The communities of Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Stepanivka were targeted with artillery, drone attacks, and one airstrike.

Russian troops shelled the border of Sumy region, injuring 5 people and damaging more than 20 houses.
