Ukrainian border guards fired on the Russian reconnaissance group as it was attempting to break into Sumy Oblast, and after an attempted gunfight, Russian saboteurs retreated.
According to Ukraine's military intelligence chief, Kyrylo Budanov, Russia dropped an ODAB-1500 on the village of Velyka Pysarivka, in the Sumy region. The fireball was seen from neighboring villages and towns as it rose up to one kilometer.
The enemy conducted air strikes near the settlements of Uhroidy, Vozdvyzhenske in the Sumy region; Lukianytsi and Volokhivka in the Kharkiv region.
