On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack near the village of Synkivka (Kharkiv Oblast), where the Russians, supported by aircraft, attempted to break through the Ukrainian defences.

A Russian missile strike on the city of Merefa in Kharkiv Oblast injured a 55-year-old woman, the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported on April 3.

Four people were killed, including three rescue workers, and five were injured in strikes on residential buildings that had previously been bombed.

There were at least four strikes on the city overnight.

The strikes used Iranian-made Shahed drones.

The enemy conducted air strikes near the settlements of Slobozhanske and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. About 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
