U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in Ramstein, Germany that the United States and coalition will not let Ukraine fail in its battle against Russian aggression.

Austin said Russia paid a staggering price for the war, echoing estimates that at least 315,000 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded during the war, which has cost Russia up to US$211 billion.

Austin said the United States will not let Ukraine fail, this coalition will not let Ukraine fail, and the free world will not let Ukraine fail.

Austin said the United States announced additional security support for Ukraine worth US$300 million last week, which would help with air defence, artillery, and anti-tank capabilities.

The 20th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) was held in Ramstein, Germany on March 19, 2024
