Viktor Pavlushchyk, a senior detective and head of the department of detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, won the competition to become head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention. All six members of the contest committee voted for his appointment.

The contest jury concluded that Pavlushchyk has the best professional experience, knowledge and qualities for performing the duties of the head of the National Agency of Corruption Prevention and corresponds to the criteria of competence and honesty.

Viktor Pavlushchyk was elected as the new head of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) by a unanimous vote.

Pavlushchyk currently serves as the head of NABU's detectives department.

51 candidates were admitted to the first stage of the competition, 24 participated in the second stage, and final interviews were held with 10 candidates on Feb. 24-25.
