Explosions were also reported in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.

Rescue workers are heading to the Holosiivskyi district in Kyiv where an apartment building caught fire due to a Russian missile attack.

A residential building in Kyiv caught fire after the Russian forces attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones on Feb. 7, 2024. At least four civilians were killed, and more than 40 were wounded in Kyiv as a result of the attack.

One missile flew into a residential region of the capital's southern Holosiivsky district and hit an apartment building in an upper story and detonated, a Kyiv Post reporter saw.

The air raid in the capital lasted almost 3 hours with missiles hitting in several waves from different directions.

Air defense forces and means hit about two dozen enemy missiles over Kyiv and in the area of the capital.
