Ukrainian drone operators from the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush rescued wounded border guard Serhiy Kupin in the Svatove area of Luhansk Oblast by delivering supplies and guiding him to safety via a 700-meter crawl.

Drone footage posted on the Telegram channel of the State Border Service of Ukraine showed how aerial scouts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces assisted in evacuating wounded Ukrainian border guard Serhiy Kupin who sustained injuries during a battle in the Svatove area of the Luhansk region.

The drone delivered hot tea and a note with the message 'Drink, friend, and follow the drone' to guide Kupin for 700 meters until his comrades could reach him.

Aerial reconnaissance saved a wounded serviceman of the Luhansk border guard unit, using a drone. The UAV showed him the direction of movement to safety.

Serhii Kupin sustained an injury during a battle on the Svatove front.

The distance to the enemy was too close: on one side – about 100 metres, on the other – 200, maybe 300. It wasn't possible to approach there safely.

The wounded border guard found it extremely difficult to move on his own, but he managed to crawl 700 metres to Ukrainian positions.
