Ukrainian Defence Intelligence's Group 13 special forces unit destroyed the Russian guided-missile corvette Ivanovets in Lake Donuzlav, Crimea, on the night of January 31-February 1, 2024.

The operation was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the United24 platform.

The enemy vessel was on the roadstead of Lake Donuzlav in temporarily occupied Crimea.

As a result of a number of direct strikes to the hull, the Russian vessel sustained critical damage causing immobilisation – it heaved aft and sank.

The value of the vessel lost is approximately US$60-70 million.

The search and rescue operation of the Russian occupiers in Donuzlav was unsuccessful.

Explosions were heard in Saky from the direction of Yevpatoria on the morning of February 1, 2024 according to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel
