Russian forces struck the town of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast on the morning of Jan. 18, hitting a multi-story building, killing one person and injuring two more.

In the Kharkiv region, Kharkiv Governor Oleh Synehubov reported one death and two injured in a Russian attack on Kuyansk, a city 60km from the Russian border.

A 61-year-old woman died and a 10-year-old boy lost a limb due to shelling in Velykyi Burluk, while a 14-year-old girl was wounded.

A House of Culture and residential buildings were damaged in the strike.
