The Netherlands sent five F-16 fighter jets to Romania to support the European F-16 Training Centre (EFTC) for training Ukrainian and Romanian pilots.

A training center for pilots from Ukraine and Romania is being opened at the Fetesti air base in Romania, coordinated by the Netherlands with support from Denmark and the US.

The Netherlands initiated the creation of the center and provided 12 to 18 F-16 fighter jets, while Lockheed Martin provides training and maintenance.
