Prague hosted the Crimean Platform's second parliamentary summit with delegations from dozens of countries, condemning Russia's annexation attempts and human rights violations in occupied Crimea.

The summit condemned Moscow's attempts at annexing Ukraine's territory and human rights violations committed against the Ukrainian people.

Participants denounced political persecution in temporarily occupied Crimea targeting Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars since 2014.

Around 40 countries participated according to Czech Press Agency, while Ukrainian officials said up to 70 parliamentary delegations arrived.

The second parliamentary summit of the Crimean Platform was held in Prague on October 24, 2023, chaired by Ruslan Stefanchuk and Marketa Pekarova Adamova.

Representatives from more than 50 countries participated in the summit, including presidents of PACE, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and the vice-president of the European Parliament.

The Ukrainian delegation included over 10 parliamentarians, such as Yevheniya Kravchuk, who discussed de-occupation of Crimea and Ukraine's European integration.

Participants held a joint meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel during the summit.

The Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform took place in Prague on 24 October 2023.

Participants adopted a joint declaration stressing the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity and condemning Russia's withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

Summit participants declared their intention to support Ukraine with political, diplomatic, military, security, financial, and humanitarian assistance.
