A unit of the Resistance Movement of the Special Operations Forces carried out a successful sabotage operation in Melitopol on 13 October, blowing up a railway line at 07:30 and damaging a train delivering ammunition and fuel to the Russian army.
The explosion damaged 150 metres of railway track and a locomotive.
This was the tenth successful railway sabotage by partisans in Zaporizhzhia Oblast in 2023.
