Saboteurs blew up two AN-148 aircraft, one IL-20 aircraft, and one MI-28N helicopter at the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region on 18 September 2023.
The operation was carried out by unknown saboteurs who planted explosives and detonated AN-148 and IL-20 aircraft (both belong to the 354th special purpose aviation regiment) at the airfield, as well as the MI-28N helicopter.
The attack caused quite a bit of hysteria in the higher military corridors.
A sabotage operation resulted in two aircraft and a helicopter being damaged on 18 September 2023 at Chkalovsky airbase. The damage caused to the planes makes their rapid restoration improbable.
