Russian authorities reported that 11 drones attempted to attack Sevastopol, Crimea on the night of August 9-10. Two drones were shot down by air defense systems and nine were neutralized by electronic warfare, crashing into the Black Sea.

Two UAVs were hit by air defence systems near the city of Sevastopol, and nine more were downed by electronic warfare systems; they crashed in the waters of the Black Sea, failing to reach the target.

There were no casualties or damage as a result of the drone attack.

Russia blamed Kyiv for the attempted strike, calling it a terrorist attack.

Russia claimed it had intercepted 11 Ukrainian drones near Crimea overnight, with two shot down near Sevastopol and nine suppressed by electronic warfare and crashed in the Black Sea.

Explosions were heard in the Dzhankoy district of Crimea.

Traffic on the Kerch Bridge was blocked after the explosions.
