Russian air defense successfully targeted and eliminated two drones near the city's periphery on the night of Aug. 9

TASS reported that two combat drones simultaneously approached Moscow from the south and southwest, one intercepted near Domodedovo and another shot down near Minsk Highway

Two combat drones' attempt to fly into the city was recorded. Both were shot down by air defence.

One drone was downed in the Domodedovo area on the southern outskirts of the city, while the second was shot down in the Minsk highway area, west of the capital.

Two drones were shot down over Moscow by Russian air defense forces, one in the Domodedovo area and another in the Minsk highway area.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that there is currently no information on injuries caused by falling debris.

The Russian Defence Ministry stated that the drones attempted to attack targets in the Moscow region but were destroyed.
