The United States announced plans to provide a new military aid package for Ukraine on 25 July worth up to US$400 million, including artillery, anti-tank weapons (TOW missiles and Javelins), ammunition for NASAMS and HIMARS systems, several Stryker armored personnel carriers, mine-clearance equipment, Patriot anti-aircraft missile ammunition, and Stinger MANPADS.

The package will include ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS), Stinger surface-to-air missiles, and Javelin anti-tank missiles

The U.S. will also send howitzer artillery rounds, demolition equipment, 32 Stryker armored vehicles, and Hornet drones

The package includes the delivery of 28 million rounds of small arms ammunition to Ukraine

On July 25, the Pentagon announced another aid package of $400 million including a variety of munitions for advanced air defense systems and a number of small, surveillance Hornet drones. Significantly, this is the first time the US has provided Ukraine with the mini-Black Hornet nano drone surveillance drones.

The United States is set to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine worth up to $400 million on Tuesday, 25 July.

The aid package includes rockets for HIMARS and NASAMS, Hydra-70 air-to-ground missiles, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, Javelin anti-tank missiles, 32 Stryker armoured vehicles, artillery shells, ammunition for small arms, and Hornet reconnaissance nanodrones.

The aid package is being sent under the PDA (presidential drawdown authority).
