On July 6, 2023, Russians carried out the largest-scale shelling of Lviv. As a result of the missile strikes on the city, 10 people were killed, more than 40 were injured, and houses, schools, dormitories, universities, a business center, restaurants, and shops were damaged.

Dozens of apartments, buildings, and a dormitory of Lviv Polytechnic were damaged.

At least 10 shelters in the Lviv region were closed during night shelling.
