The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine conducted an aerial reconnaissance operation on the Bakhmut front, detecting a Russian unit personnel change. Ukrainian border guards then attacked the newly deployed Russians with mortar bombs and grenades.

14 Russians have been affected: eight have been killed and six injured.

Russian attacks wounded 10 civilians in Donetsk Oblast.

The attacks damaged 13 houses, a cultural institution building, two administrative buildings, and an infrastructure facility.

Ukraine's summer offensive reportedly made small advances in three theaters while facing stiff resistance. The active areas were: around Bakhmut; in western Zaporizhzhia toward Mala Tokmachka, and; near the administrative border between eastern Zaporizhzhia and western Donetsk regions.

Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully carried out offensive actions in the area east of the settlement of Stupochky, pushing Russian occupiers out of their positions.
