On the Avdiivka and Marinka fronts, the Russians carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka and Pervomaiske.

Ukrainian forces repelled more than 70 Russian attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions on March 31.

Two civilians – including a baby boy – are killed by Russia shelling in Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
