Russian occupation forces are also ramping up administrative and policing measures on the temporarily Russian-occupied territory of Kherson Oblast. In order to facilitate this, several units of the Russian Armed Forces will be replaced by units of the Russian Guards [also known as Rosgvardiya].
Ukrainian authorities detained the deputy mayor of Kherson who is suspected of collaborationism with Russian troops.
