The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian forces have lost approximately 85,000 military personnel and significant amounts of military equipment, including tanks, artillery systems, and rocket launchers, in the war with Ukraine.

Total combat losses of Russian forces between 24 February and 22 November 2022 are estimated at approximately 85,000 military personnel, 2,895 tanks, 1,882 artillery systems, and 395 multiple-launch rocket systems.

Russian troops have suffered their heaviest losses on the Avdiivka and Lyman fronts.

Ukraine’s General Staff reported that Russia had lost 85,000 troops in Ukraine since Feb. 24, along with 2,895 tanks, 5,827 armored fighting vehicles, 4,393 vehicles and fuel tanks, 1,882 artillery systems, 395 multiple launch rocket systems, 209 air defense systems, 278 airplanes, 261 helicopters, 1,537 drones, 480 cruise missiles, and 16 boats.
