The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine issued a statement alleging that Russian occupation forces are building an unauthorized construction near the spent nuclear fuel storage facility at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) and restricting personnel access. The Inspectorate demanded immediate restrictions on using the dry storage facility to address violations of Ukrainian nuclear safety laws.
