Russian forces struck several communities in Sumy Oblast 143 times, damaging a school, kindergarten, village council, water tower, monument, two residential buildings, and a power line in the Shalyhyne community.

A total of 143 strikes were recorded in Sumy Oblast, including 72 mortar attacks, artillery fire, and Grad rocket launches.

Mortar shelling occurred in Esman community and Avinohivka (Atniske) in Bilopillia community, while artillery targeted Yuniste and Malushe.

In Shalyhyne community, a forest caught fire, and in Khodyne village, a school, kindergarten, village council, water tower, and two residential houses were damaged.

A 68-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel in Novovladymirka village after mortar fire, and a power line was damaged.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the Sumy region suffered 38 attacks by Russian troops in the previous day.
